A pendant of Archangel Michael, the winged knight in shining heavenly armor with a flaming spear, defeating the antichrist in the form of a dragon. The embodiment of God’s divine justice protecting the world from all that is evil, patron of policemen, police officers, mariners, paratroopers and soldiers as well as traders and those who are about to die. Michael, or “the one who looks like the God”, is often considered the leader of all archangels. According to many legends, it was him who gave Joan of Arc the courage to lead French armies into battle, which led to France winning the Hundred Year’s War. He was the one who taught Adam how to cultivate the land and take care of a family in the Garden of Eden. Archangel Michael and his heroic deeds help us in the darkest hour, dispelling our fears and giving us courage. We celebrate his name on the 29th of September together with Archangels Gabriel and Rafael.

On the other side is an ornamental black inscription in Latin, highlighted by the bright white background, “Ora pro nobis!” meaning “Pray for us!”. The medal itself is decorated by its handcrafted 585/1000 gold frame with a hallmark.
