A larger medallion of Holy Family. In Christianity the term Holy Family refers to the family consisting of the Virgin Mary, st. Joseph and Jesus Christ. It is cited as the best example of love, virtue and harmony and a model for the lives of all Catholic families. The feast of the Holy Family falls on December 27.

The painting is fired into the enamel at 700°C, the surface is glossy and the back is predominated over with an ornate inscription in Latin “Ora pro nobis!” meaning „Pray for us!“.
