St. Stephen is the patron saint of masons and stonemasons, carriages and horses, tailors, carpenters and weavers. He is an intercessor for a good death. It helps against headaches, against stones and pricking in the side. His attributes are the stones with which he was stoned, Gospel Book and a palm branch.
December 26 is called "Saint Stephen's Day". Saint Stephen is also commemorated on 4 January. In the Armenian Apostolic and Armenian Catholic Churches, Saint Stephen's Day falls on 25 December.

On the other side is an ornamental black inscription in Latin, highlighted by the bright white background, “Ora pro nobis!” meaning “Pray for us!”. The medal itself is decorated by its handcrafted 585/1000 gold frame with a hallmark.
