A painted medallion commemorating devotion to the Virgin Mary and Mother of God. It is based on a more than century-old pendant from a place of miracles—the pilgrimage site at Svata Hora in Pribram, Czechia. According to legend, Archbishop Arnost of Pardubice carved this miraculous statue in 1348.
Her feast day is celebrated on the third Sunday after Pentecost, marking the anniversary of her coronation, which took place in 1732.
The image of Our Lady of Svata Hora is fired into the enamel at 700°C, resulting in a perfectly glossy surface. On the reverse side is a black, decorative Latin inscription reading “Ora pro nobis.” Our Madonna of Svata Hora is set in a 585/1000 gold, hand-crafted frame with a hallmark.
