The Assumption of the Virgin Mary, also Assumptio. Mary is often depicted here in the middle of the angelic churches with which she is carried to heaven. When the Immaculate Virgin finished her earthly life, she was taken with her body and soul to the glory of heaven and exalted by the Lord as the queen of all creation.
One of the most important Marian holidays is celebrated on August 15.

Hand-painted. The painting is fired into the enamel at 700°C, the surface is glossy and the back is predominated over with an ornate inscription “Ora pro nobis!” (Pray for us). It's all set in a 585/1000 hallmarked handcrafted gold frame.
